Learn how to make delicious and healthy Marinated Cabbage Slaw by following an easy step by step recipe. Serves 1 person. Multiply by number of servings needed.
- 1 cup green cabbage, thinly sliced
- 1 bell pepper, sliced
- 1/3 cup bean sprouts
- 1/4 Vidalia onion, thinly sliced
- 2 Tbsp red wine vinegar
- 2 Tbsp extra-virgin olive oil
- Pinch celery seeds
- Pinch crushed red pepper flakes
- Salt and pepper to taste
Combine cabbage, peppers, bean sprouts, and onions in a large bowl.
Bring vinegar, olive oil, salt, pepper, celery seeds, and red pepper flakes to a boil in small saucepot.
Pour contents of saucepot over cabbage mixture. Stir well.
Enjoy hot, or cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 8 hours before enjoying cold.
